Orders & delivery

Where is my order?

The order screen in the app always shows the current step and what happens next — confirmed, booked for collection, with the courier, delivered. If something needs doing, the order says so plainly; if nothing does, it says that too.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, up until the parcel leaves the seller. After that it can no longer be cancelled — if something is wrong when it arrives, use the inspection window to report a problem instead, and we will put it right.

What is the inspection window?

A short period after delivery to make sure the piece is as described. If everything is fine you can accept it — or simply do nothing, and the order completes on its own. If something is wrong, report the problem before the window closes and the payment stays held while we look into it.

Payments & payouts

When do I get paid for a sale?

The money is released once the buyer accepts the piece, or once their inspection window passes quietly. The wallet in the app shows each amount and when it arrives in your account.

Why is my payout on hold?

The wallet names the reason against each held amount — an open dispute, identity verification still to finish, bank details the bank refused — and exactly what clears it. Fix the named thing and we send the money again. If a hold is not explained, that is our fault: write to us.

Which payment methods can I use?

Cards, handled by our payment partner. Charmity never sees or stores your card number — we receive only a confirmation, the card's brand and its last four digits for your receipt.

Selling

How do I list something?

A few photographs of the actual piece, an honest condition grade, your price. Every listing is looked over before it goes live, so allow a little time between listing and appearing.

How does home collection work?

When a piece sells and you confirm it, you book a collection in the app. A courier picks the parcel up at your address — you can leave access notes for the driver, and you never queue at a counter.

What may I not sell?

Counterfeits or replicas of any kind, items you do not own or cannot transfer, and anything outside fashion. The full list is in the Terms of Use.

Designer items

How does authentication work?

Designer pieces that qualify are screened when listed and, where it matters, examined by independent authenticators before the sale completes. If a piece fails, the sale is unwound and the buyer refunded in full. A suspected counterfeit is always valid grounds for a dispute.

Account & data

How do I sign in? I have no password.

That is by design — there are no passwords to remember or to leak. Enter your phone number or email address and we send a one-time code. If the code does not arrive, check the number or address is exactly the one you signed up with, then try again.

How do I delete my account and my data?

From your profile in the app you can close your account, and separately erase your personal data. Erasure is irreversible and cannot run while an order is still open; what the law obliges us to keep for accounting no longer says who you were. The details are in the Privacy Policy. You can also just write to us and we will do it for you.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes — request an export from the app, or write to us from the address on your account and we will send you what we hold.

How do I stop marketing messages?

One switch in the app's notification settings turns all marketing off — push, email and SMS at once. Messages about your own orders continue, because they are part of the service: a sale that needs confirming, money that moved.
